I have been busy since this morning at 10:30. I woke up at 8:30 after waking up at 3am with nothing to watch and for no good reason. I went back to bed at about 3:30 and slept quite well.

After showering and getting dressed, I got a deposit (Avon stuff) ready and then headed to the bank, mailed a letter and then drove around for a bit. I ended up at one of the local malls, close to my apartment and I applied at Dillards, Von Maur and several other stores within said mall. Have I mentioned lately how much I hate the mall?

I went to Walmart after that for some groceries (including hair color) and came home. I opened up all the windows, turned the air up and have the fans going. It’s quite nice out! I started going through the bathroom (under my sink specifically) and got that cleaned up and have a huge garbage bag ready to go downstairs.

I need to go through the cupboards that I have in there and then I’m done with the bathroom portion of my “Project De-clutter Weekend, part 1″ I figure it will take me a few weekends to de-clutter this place, so I’m thinking there will be about 3 weekends of this project.

I’m going to head back into the bathroom and get that done. The Kitchen will be next. That’s the one I’m afraid of. Seriously. Since I didn’t have much room out there to begin with, I started just shoving stuff wherever I could find the room. Ooops.

Until next time…

I feel emotionally drained right now. While I feel like I’m in a good place mentally, I still have a lot on my mind and plate. I’ve gotten closer to the “acceptance” level of my situation and I’m just going to take it a day at a time.

I had a good day at work, it was busy. Since it was the Friday before payroll Monday, I had some payroll things to do. I did the calculations on the 40 hour people and it’s HARDER than the 56 hour people. *le sigh* It kept me busy the majority of the day though. I got the calculations down, had The Trainer check them before I started keying them into the system. I did 231 entries for that. Hopefully, I did those correctly too, there is no way for them to check my work before I hit submit in the system - unless they stand over my shoulder the entire time. Uhh yeah, they don’t stand over my shoulder. Thankfully.

I got home and did NOT want to go to my meeting tonight. I just didn’t want to bother. I wanted to stay here, watch TV and just relax while playing some games on Crackbook.

Since I was fighting against it so hard, I dragged myself out and to the meeting. I’m glad I did. I’m always glad I go to meetings when I don’t feel like going. The meetings make me feel better in general and so I need to remember that!

The new Halloween stuff is out! Campaign 19 is going on! If you or someone you know likes Avon products, go to my Avon page. I got an order from a GA person while at the meeting, so that was cool. And while I think it’s cool she paid me immediately, she over-charged herself and so when I get the invoice for her order, I will owe her about $5.00.

I’m going to go relax and cuddle with Josie.

Until next time…

I went in an hour early and I left 2.5 hours late. I made up the 2 hours of yesterday’s time I took and then tomorrow I’m going in an hour early to make up the 3rd hour. The other 1.5 hours will be overtime on my check. YAY.

I got quite a bit of moving old files and what not done. I moved my iPod docking station out to the filing area, turned it on shuffle and went to work.

Needless to say my back hurts and I have various sized paper cuts all over my hands and fingers. YAY me!

I got into the storage room this afternoon when I got home. I grabbed a few of the old boxes and put them here in the living room. I’m going to start going through stuff this weekend.

I have a lot of stuff on my mind and I really need to make a decision quickly regarding parts of it. It’s quite frustrating and frightening, but I’ll make the right decision.

I’m watching football right now on NBC. The Giants and the Redskins. Of course, I’m cheering for the Giants. Before you go accusing me of being a “bandwagon” fan, I’ve liked the Giants since before Jason Sehorn retired. And I’ve been a HUGE Tiki Barber fan for years and years. I just follow the Packers more than I follow the Giants.

I’m really looking forward to the weekend. I have no plans to go anywhere and I am just going to hang out here and go through stuff.

Josie has been acting very needy since we got back from Georgia. She misses her play mate, Chloe. I’m actually falling into a routine where I’m not constantly looking for her or wondering what she’s getting into all the time.

I ran into MGT last night when she stopped by to pick up some of her stuff. She’s still staying away from the apartment for the most part. She knocked on my door and we chatted for a bit. She has an Avon lady, but said Avon lady is retiring soon, so MGT will be ordering through me once her lady retires. She’s such a nice lady, I feel kind of bad for talking shit about her all the time.

OH and I noticed she’s changed her gold caps. It’s not the entire grill that is gold anymore. Each tooth is outlined in gold, instead of capped in gold. LOL

I’m kind of hoping we become friends in a way, not super close mind you (I don’t want some 6′4″ pimp chasing after me cause he’s stalking her, ya know?), but close enough where I have someone to talk to on occasion.

I’m going to go read through some of the papers I got at my meeting yesterday and watch the football game. TTFN

Until next time…

YAY! It’s hump day already! And it’s kind of a short work day for me. I have an appointment at 1:30 p.m. that will take me out of the office for the rest of the day starting at 1pm. Although I’ll have to make up those 3 hours, it will be worth it in the long run.

I watched the series opener of 90210 last night. I am a huge fan of the original and I watch the repeats on SoapNet everyday.

I really enjoyed this show. It was a bit cheesy in areas, but isn’t that what all soap-opera like shows are? I enjoyed watching how they put Erin (Kelly and David’s little sister) into the show and Andrea Zuckerman’s daughter Hannah.

I think the best part of the show so far is Rob Estes and the male teacher Ryan. I don’t know the actor’s name and I haven’t gone to any websites to find out. They provide the eye candy for the adult scene I believe.

Jennie Garth is just beautiful. I think she has aged wonderfully. Shannen Doherty showed up in the 2nd hour of the premiere and I thought I was going to die!!! SQUEEEEEE

It was an entertaining 2 hours that took my mind off of all my problems and allowed me to laugh and giggle like a school girl. I’ll be watching this show again. I’ve set the DVR to record all new episodes (in case I miss one!)

I’m running a bit slow this morning. I slept halfway decent so I don’t know why I’m so sluggish. I’m just tired and sleepy. I need to go get ready for work now.

I was checking out these Capresso machines and that is why I was late. I love me some coffee and so I always like looking at the fancy coffee makers and what not.

Until next time…

My day, half in bullets and half not.

I spent most of the day at work trying to wade out of the shit that piled up while I was gone over the four day weekend. I had so much crap to get caught up on, I didn’t know where to start.

I finally started getting my head above water near the end of the day. Figures, doesn’t it?

I have an appointment tomorrow with some people who are going to help me with the debt thing. I’m getting the credit counseling services. We’ll see what happens. I’m hoping it will lift a huge weight off my shoulders.

I’m leaving work at 1pm tomorrow and will be going in an hour early to make up one of those 3 hours I’ll need to make up. I’ll then go in early Thursday and we are all working late that day, so I’ll make up the 3 hours AND get some OT in there. Hopefully.

It’s horribly hot in this fucking apartment again. I have my fans going and the air turn down a bit until the sun goes down.

It’s supposed to stay in the mid to high 70’s over night, so it’s not like it’s going to cool off anytime soon.

That makes me cranky.

I dropped my rent off this afternoon after work and there’s a story there for another post. I’m glad I’ll be leaving.

The Avon order arrived while I was in Georgia and I got it today from the office.

I went through the order and totaled up all the prices and what not. I’ll start delivery tomorrow.

Don’t let that sentence fool you. I don’t have all that many orders to deliver. LOL

I ate three cheese ziti marinara for dinner. It’s a Weight Watchers Smart One meal. Quite tasty.

Josie is still moping around for the most part, but gets excited when I get one of her toys out.

I found these braces and splints for your feet if you have Plantar Fasciitis. Interesting stuff really.

I haven’t been in a good space mentally since I left Georgia yesterday. I’m sure I’m having trouble adjusting to life without Chloe. I know I’ll see her again near Thanksgiving.

I’m busy putting labels on all my new Campaign 20 books. Campaign 19 just started, so I’m just preparing the books for 20.

I feel bent. I feel like my life spiraled out of control financially to a point I almost broke. I decided while I was in Georgia that while my life only seemed horrible and messy, it’s actually not all that bad of a life.

My stress levels are still extremely high, but I’m working on it. I’m working on it all. I’ll get to where I need to be. I just need to have a little faith.

Until next time…

I got home at around 3pm this afternoon. I unpacked the clothes and left everything else sitting in various different spots in the apartment. My comforter that I washed down at mom’s is still in my trunk. I just could not bring myself to make another trip down these stairs of death.

As I’ve been relaxing and watching my four recorded episodes of Third Watch, I’ve been fighting the sleep off. I’m on Goodbye to Camelot right now and next up is Welcome to Camelot. Nothing like watching the series ender and then the series beginner all in one shot, right?

I’ve been looking around this apartment and wondering how many boxes it’s going to take to pack it up for when I move. I need to start collecting boxes to pack. I can pack all my books and knick-knacks right now, since I won’t be using any of them.

I’m not really looking forward to moving, however, I can’t wait to get out of this ghetto-like neighborhood.

My first Avon order was delivered while I was in Georgia. I need to find out where they delivered it. Is it in the apartment office? Is it in MGT’s apartment next door? I will find out tomorrow I suppose. Unless MGT has it, she will probably knock on my door tonight to give it to me.

And before I forget, I was bestowed a cute award by Wander. It’s the I Love Your Blog award.

Here are the rules:

1. The winner can put the logo on his/her blog.
2. Link the person you received your award from.
3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs.
4. Put links of those blogs on yours.
5. Leave a message on the blogs of the people you’ve nominated.

And so the seven six I am going to bestow this awesome award to, are (and they are NOT in order of favorites or anything - but seriously, did you doubt the first three?)

Miss Monique at When We Were Liars

Miss Laci at Long, Slow, Beautiful Dance

Miss Lucy at Lucy’s Dilemma

Hilly over at Snackie’s World

Lisa at Clusterfook

Slobokan at Slobokan’s Site of Schtuff

I just couldn’t pick a 7th. I have too many favorites to list and I am just entirely too exhausted to pick a 7th person. I know, I’m breaking the rules. I think we’ll all get over it.

Until next time…

You are a fun flirt and an instant sweetheart, but our guess is you’re becoming more selective about long-term love. It’s getting tougher for you to become permanently attached; and a guy who’s in a different place emotionally might misunderstand your early enthusiasm. You can wreck someone simply by enjoying him.

Your ideal mate is adventurous and giving, like you. But not overly intense.

I don’t know if I’m using “effect” in the right form here. Should it be “affect”? Could someone let me know? I fixed my error, thanks to Avitable!

As I’ve been sitting here all day, watching either Fox News or MSNBC, Gustav has been the hot topic. The mandatory evacuation of NOLA has been the 2nd hot topic. How prepared are we? How prepared are the residents of that area?

And then I realized I wasn’t all that far north, so some of the evacuations could effect affect my drive home tomorrow. Right? Will it? I don’t know.

I saw on TV that some of the evacuees are as far north as Nashville. Like thousands of evacuees. I’ve seen that they are taking I-20 to get out of the area. I saw that some were in Birmingham, AL. I go through Birmingham this certain way I go home.

I’m considering changing my route to avoid the worst traffic. But where will that worst traffic be? I have no idea.

I’ll be leaving early enough tomorrow that I won’t have to worry about not making it home in one day IF the traffic effects my drive. However, I don’t want to be on the road for 12 fricking hours.

I just woke up from a nap. I love my afternoon naps on the weekends. I was on the couch at 12:30 and then ended up on moms bed until just about 15 minutes ago. *le sigh*

I’ve had a great visit and have enjoyed myself a lot. While I’m not looking forward to the drive, I am looking forward to getting back to the Ville with just me and Josie and start our new life of Chloe-free living.

I found some great work clothes while I was here at Ross and I found a great work pair of shoes today at Walmart. I have a whole new outfit to wear to work on Tuesday!

Don’t forget that on Tuesday, the Avon website will be changing over to the Halloween-centric type stuff! I wouldn’t want you to miss out on that Halloween stuff if you love it.

I hope you’re all having a great weekend!

Until next time…

Mom and I slept in until about 8am (shut up, that’s sleeping in as far as I’m concerned!) and just hung out for a bit. We slowly got ready to go out and went to Ross Dress For Less. We don’t have a Ross in the Ville so I wanted to check it out to see what kind of work clothes they have.

I found a black, pinstripe KC Spencer suit for $19.99 and two cute blouses (the sleevesless shell I like so much) and I spent just about exactly $40. It was $39 something. This was my budget amount for finding something there.

I love Ross when I’m in the mood for it. It’s one of those bargain stores where you have to dig to find what you like and what fits you and what looks good. But once you do find that one thing you’re after, it’s like Christmas all wrapped up into a pretty little discounted bow.

A lot of people compare it to TJ Maxx and I just have to say NO WAY does TJ Maxx even compare. Yes, TJ Maxx has the deals, but Ross is awesome!

On our way home, we stopped at Chik-Fil-A. I love their salads there! However, in the spirit of trying new things, I got some of the chicken strips and their waffle fries. I’m not feeling too hot. My tummy is screaming (read: gurgling up a storm) at me. It’s horrible.

Now we are relaxing and waiting for my brother to call to let us know they are home, so we can head on over there and hang out for part of the evening.

Until next time…
